Personal Bio

Gary Hippman is your friendly Currumbin and Gold Coast Handyman. Gary joined Jim’s bringing with him a wealth of experience in all facets of building, renovation and Handyman jobs. The reputation of Jim’s is what drew Gary to join the Jim’s Handyman team, being able to combine his talents with Australia’s biggest Home Services franchise company.

In 2008 Gary relocated to the Gold Coast from Tasmania and is happy to now call it home, not missing those winters at all!

In his career, Gary completed his apprenticeship way back when, (helped Noah build the ark), ventured out with his own businesses, renovated a few houses, including his current home with his wife Emma. Had a mid-life adventured into a greenhouse business growing tomatoes, worked for charities, played rugby union…well, played cricket…badly, stared at the tip of a fishing rod for longer than he cares to admit and tried way too hard to surf. But he did it all with the absolute enthusiasm and dedication you will always find in this ‘let’s make it happen’ guy.

From one-off ‘I’ll get around to that soon’ jobs to those bigger projects that you’re just not sure where to start, Gary’s your man to make it happen. Whether painting or plasterboard patching, tiling to tidying, decking to doors, high pressure cleaning and regular preventative maintenance, if you need it done Gary will find a way to do it!

When he’s not busy giving you your weekends back, Gary likes to go 4×4 camping, spending time at the beach with Emma and their two ‘moodles’ and taking advantage of the wonderful lifestyle of the Gold Coast and beyond.

Jason Adair is your ‘outdoorsy bloke’ for Jim’s Handyman in Mudgeeraba and the surrounding Gold Coast areas.

Coming from a background of Concreting and Formwork, Jason then spent 4 years with the Gold coast City Council providing routine maintenance in the Parks, Roads and Drainage division. Whether driving a truck, maintaining the parks or forming up and pouring a slab Jason enjoys all work outside. However, his talents don’t end there.

Jason is the master of flat packs and he can assemble your shed, repair and paint your fence, fix your squeaking gate, revamp your deck, mount your clothes line and your dryer, repair damaged plasterwork and generally help you with a multitude of other maintenance jobs inside and outside your home or business.

Joining Jim’s Handyman for Jason means that he has the flexibility and freedom of being his own Boss. Being involved as the Assistant Coach with his local Soccer Club gives Jason social interaction in his community.

He may be a fairly quite sort of guy, but Jason loves a good laugh and he also enjoys fitness and music.

On his serious side, Jason is passionate about his work ethic and customer service. Achieving the best result for his customers, no matter what the challenge, is his main objective.
